Everpress x Amnesty x Careaux

A few weeks ago my friend from London, Alex Powis emailed me. He asked me if I was interested in creating artwork for Amnesty in collaboration with Everpress. This campaign was focused to raise money for Amnesty. The theme for this campaign was censorship.

I decided to give a focus on love and gay love in particular. The idea behind the illustration is the fact that in some ways being gay isn’t completely accepted. To be honest, even I find it difficult sometimes but try to be open about love that no matter in what way, you should love the way you feel. I know I’m not gay but I can understand for people who feel differently about it, it’s hard to show it when people don’t accept it or feel alone because they can’t be themselves. The faces and the hair and the collar show the form of a love heart. The flowers cover the kiss because of the blooming of their love. Her eyes are filled with sparkles of passion.

The shirt is now available for pre-order. I know it’s been selling pretty well. You don’t only support Amnesty, 50% of profit goes to me, yaaaay!
