Parra-tterns on my feet

A few weeks ago, these were about to drop online and in a few stores. However, I totally missed the post on social media that Patta had a raffle in the pop up store next door. So my only chance was online.. and Naked Copenhagen.

My alarm was set on time. I had my iPad and my MacBook ready, even my phone. My phone was not connected to the WiFi, cause yes, during a release it’s better to be on you 4G. When the clock hit 9am, I refreshed everything, realizing Nike (as always) didn’t start at size 36. And if anyone from Nike reads this and know from several panel talks I did, you need to get your shit together on sizing..

The drop date doesn’t show all websites that stocked these so my only chance was Naked cause I knew they would be getting this. No announcement from them at all. It was just a waiting game and be quick.

I gave up and took a shower cause me and Roger were going out that day. As we were on the bus to the car, a notification of Naked showed up and my heart started racing: “THEY ARE ONLINE”. I didn’t even check the post, I went to their website straight away and there it was. Size 36. BAM! In my cart and before I knew it, I checked out (from the cart and the bus – at the same time). I COPPED THEM!
