As most of you know, if you read about our upcoming trip, we are going to Singapore. Let Singapore be one of the cities I fell in love with. This time we are planning to do a lot of other things than I did the first times I’ve visited. I found a location I want to visit and for that picture, I needed a new outfit – yes, I’m that person.
I’ve had my eyes on this particular dress for a while. I saw it in a shoot of Naked for the first time and I went on a hunt for it. Of course, I couldn’t find it. And when I finally did, the next morning it was sold for a ridiculous price. A week after this loss, I managed to find it in a different colour from the new collection. What a search it has been and it’s “sort of” completed. What can we tick off?
1. It’s still from the same brand called Stine Goya. Originally from Denmark I think. I love the brands aesthetics and it has my name all over it. I remember I used to wear really short cut skirts and dress that almost showed my curvy body (not even close). That changed through the years. In Sydney I used to wear a lot more baggie clothes because of the weather – so then you couldn’t see the sweat straight away, only smell it hahaha I’m joking.. or not..
2. It’s the same dress! But in a different colour as I said before. The style name is “Jasmine” Mini Dress. A danish girlfriend had informed me that the pink color, which I initially wanted, was from the previous season and that they often do that per season by only choosing 1 color and applying it to a number of popular items. This season it happened to be blue and let that be my favorite color!
Let’s have a chat about the quality. By the looks, when I didn’t have it yet, it looked really good. I never hesitated. The price can keep you away from buying but it’s so unique in its own way. You wouldn’t be able to find this at ZARA. And that’s what I want. I don’t want it to be easy accessible or worn by every girl on the planet. So far I haven’t seen anyone with this dress yet but we can make a difference in that. I rather have a cute and quality dress for a higher price point than a poorly made dress that shrinks in the wash.
A lot of girls follow me for my style. My sneakers and dresses. My feminine but street style. I honestly believe I’m a game changer in this. I’m not a tomboy. When will you see me in joggers? If I’m not feeling myself.
What I Am Wearing
Dress Stine Goya || Shoes Acne Studios || Bag Céline
Anyway, I was supposed to dedicate the first blogpost to this dress with images at that location in Singapore and thought to myself. “Well Lynn, if it’s that nice, you can do it twice!” I got the link for you girls! If you’ve looked close enough, I’ve also attached a link to Acne sneakers. They are not the same colorway as mine but purple is so cute too! They have a lot available actually! Did you came for the dress instead? Have a look by clicking on the image below!
