The First Sneaker Dedication Cut Out!

Is a fact!!! I really wanted to show you this earlier, but of course I needed an example. In this case a family member wanted a Cut Out on the wall so he placed the first order. (GRATEFUL!) Super nice for me as well because the investment was done by them and I could immediately take pictures of it. WIN WIN situation!

But it shouldn’t stop here. This should be the beginning of more Cut Out pieces of my illustrations and I can’t wait to ship out more to you and yours! I’m glad I have this example. The quality is amazing. Even if you touch it with your hand, you can feel the layers of the paint, which is dope. The outcome it way better than I expected. And although the process takes a bit longer, it just gives my art a new feeling. I used to love my art on canvases a lot but this reaches a whole other level.

Few facts about this example.
– The piece is 100 cm high and 70 cm wide.
(points from the tip of the flower to the nose of the sneaker)
– The plate is made of forex and is 5 mm thick.
– The illustration is printed directly on to plate.
– It was pressed on an extra piece of forex.
– And then completely cut out by laser.

Cut Out.
A Cut Out is really dope. You don’t have to add flowers if you don’t want to, but this is my “specialty” – The OG “Sneaker Dedication”. We can of course discuss this – it is your party! The pieces are “MADE TO ORDER”: this means that there is no waste, it will go in production when the order is made. The Cut Out is in general 10 mm thick but if you prefer to have it a little bit thinner, that’s fine too. I suggest to not go thinner than 5mm if you have a piece bigger than 70cm to avoid the possibility of breaking. The prices for the Cut Out are different from canvases or posters. I made canvases daily but eventually changed it to “REQUEST ONLY”. For request only I charge a bit more but that makes it special as it will be a 1 of 1 piece.

For example:
You think the AF1 Travis Scott is dope. You want this as Cut Out, that’s possible. Email me with your favorite shoe and the size of the Cut Out. I will let you know if I have already made the shoe or not. It is great if I have already made it because then the prices of the Cut Outs are as followed:
– 30 cm € 65
– 50 cm €85
– 80 cm € 100
– 100 cm € 120 (holland only)
– 150 cm € 150 (holland only)

What happens if I haven’t made the shoe yet?
Then I charge €50 designers fee on top of the regular Cut Out prices.

Why?
Making a new piece of course costs me time. I tell you very honestly, I like to make new pieces, but sometimes it takes me 6 hours to make one. But mail me to know for sure if I made the shoe or not! Personally I think the Cut Out have more character if they are larger than 70 cm. This is of course entirely up to you how big you want it on your wall.

Canvas.
You can of course still order a canvas. This was my regular activity when I just started with sneaker illustrations. As I mentioned earlier, I made canvases daily but eventually changed it to “REQUEST ONLY”. Of course I can make everything for you!
The prices of the canvases are as followed:
– 30×30 cm € 55
– 40×40 cm € 65
– 60x60cm € 85 (holland only)
– 100x100cm € 100 (holland only)

Also in this case, if I didn’t make the shoe yet, the designers fee of € 50 counts.

Posters are also still available! If you are still curious about other information, I suggest you visit my Bigcartel: careaux.bigcartel.com. Here you can see what is currently online. If you still have questions OR want to place a request. Then you can do this via hello@shecozylifeof.com. Either way, I think this first Sneaker Cut Out is really nice and I hope I can make your favorite sneaker soon! Stay tuned for the Black Friday discount code, coming soon ;)!
